Final Major Project – Colour

Before I started the build of my app I design how the app will look like, with doing that I had a colour palette in mind.

I decided to use Adobe Color to visualise the colours I will be having in my app and here is some of the colours that I have created and found from other colour palettes that other people have created:

Likingthesecolours I went onto a different app called Coolors.co, which is a new website that has implemented what Adobe Color has done with their wheel but adding more features to create your own colour palette. You can change the Hue, Saturation, Brightness (HSB), Red, Green and Blue (RGB), Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Key (CMYK), Pantone Matching System (PMS). Also pressing the spacebar randomly generates a selection of colour which also gives you the hex code to put that into photoshop. Then to save the colours you have created you can export the colours into a PNG file.

So here is my colours on Coolors.co:

Colours – Interactive Enviroments

I have used adobe kuler to create my colour swatches, i have used some of the swatches in the library already but created my own too.
I was thinking of greys, dark browns, blacks and of course whites for the main material that we will use for the application, and then reds for the big buttons so the user can see and there finger will fit on it.

I uploaded the colour swatches in .ase file to my dropbox but i don’t know how to show the colours in any preview programs, the swatches are in a file called Colours – IE.
